While we’ve been busy organizing at conventions and crunching data, we haven’t been as good at reporting it out. Here’s the update on our movement over the past three weekends .
February 27th-28th:
At the conclusion of “Super Saturday” DFL convention weekend (February 27th-28th), where roughly 30% of state delegates were selected, the reNEW Minnesota campaign added 57 state delegates to its roster. After that weekend, our running total sat at 89 state delegates.
March 6th-7th:
Over the weekend of March 6th-7th, the reNEW Minnesota campaign continued its march forward, earning a total of 139 delegates to the state convention. The vast majority of these (64 elected delegates) came out of uncommitted/reNEW subcaucuses.
Here’s a geographic breakdown of the reNEW delegates as of March 7th:
| Region | reNEW Delegates | % ofreNEW bloc |
|---|---|---|
| St. Paul | 20 | 14.39% |
| Minneapolis | 47 | 33.81% |
| Suburban | 29 | 20.86% |
| Greater MN | 43 | 30.94% |

And this just in . . . Sunday, March 14 put us over the top. The reNEW campaign has amassed 155 Duluth-bound delegates! Check back in a few days for a new analysis of the numbers. Go team!
