You worked incredibly hard this year to help win the governor's race. You helped us reach tens of thousands of voters and have a one-on-one conversation with each of them about our next governor. And now, thanks to your help and the entire effort behind him, Mark Dayton leads Tom Emmer by 8,755 votes – a virtually insurmountable lead. Especially in a tough year like this, that's a huge victory. But as you've probably heard, this puts us barely under the 0.5% margin that triggers an automatic hand recount.
So now we need your help to make sure the recount goes smoothly. The Dayton camp needs thousands of recount observers across the state, and we're holding trainings to get everyone prepared. It looks like the recount itself will start immediately after Thanksgiving weekend.
To help, please take a look below at the trainings, and click on one to go to an online RSVP page for that training. Once you RSVP we'll follow up to give you the exact details.
